Call for Workshops proposals
 

We are looking for your proposals for interactive and engaging 1:30-hour sessions to be held during first Faro Convention International Conference. We want to invite the best ideas to take the stage, and open up new voices and subjects around the conference's main theme: public participation in heritage management processes. We are looking for interactive sessions that focus on public participation theory or practice. Please plan time for discussion as well as presentation of material. The information you provide will be used in evaluating your proposal and developing the conference program. This information will be available on the website to help participants select the workshop(s) that best matches their goals.

The official language of the conference is English, hence all proposals must be submitted in English.

The extended deadline for submitting your proposal is 15th August 2023.  If you have any questions, please contact us. You will be notified of your acceptance on 27th October 2023.
Please note: All presenters are expected to register and attend the Conference.

Instructions for workshop proposals: 

Before proceeding to the application form, please be aware that you hold the information listed below: 

  • Category – workshop/ training session;

  • Title - a clear and informative title that lets the participant understand what to expect from your workshop;

  • Description - a brief description (maximum of 500 words);

  • Theme - a brief description of how your proposal relates to the conference theme. This information is for the Program Planning Group only & will NOT appear on the website;

  • Training Level – open to all levels, foundation, intermediate, advanced;

  • Learning Objectives; 

  • Supporting References;

  • Presenter(s) Information – name, affiliation, email, brief biography;
